About the Artist
My name is Jerry Macdonell, I currently reside in Vestal, NY. Abducted by small rodents as a youth and living in a small upstate town called Kirkwood, I was trained to be an engineer but by choice I instead settled into the drab twenty year routine of computer geek. Over the years something deep within struggled for life. I have pursued creative contemplations in the mediums of ink, acrylics, oils, photography, digital design (both bitmap works as well as pure 3D modelling) and stop-motion animation far into the late evening hours over the last ten years. I am seeking a blend of mediums that bring a new level of thought forward through the use of the visual communication of art. And no, I don't sniff my own farts. Our passions in life should not be ignored, they should be pursued with all of the energy that life can muster.
